Ric Hassani steals the show at ShoNaLe

Renowned Nigerian artiste Ric Hassani captivated the audience at the Shorts Na Lesu (ShoNaLe) music festival, held at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds on Saturday night, Jan 13, 2024. The event lived up to its hype, and Ric Hassani, donned in a stylish blue silky shirt and white pants, put up a stellar performance.

As a nominee for prestigious awards like the All African Music Awards and Headies, Ric Hassani truly lived up to his title as the voice of Modern Pop, dominating the night with an energetic live showcase. The crowd was treated to a spectacular playlist, including hits like "Thunder Fire You," "Ngozi," "Angel," "My Only Baby," "For Instance," "Only You" and "Number One."

During his performance, Hassani introduced Joshua Baraka, one of Uganda's hottest acts at the moment, and the audience joyously sang along to Baraka's hits like "Dalilah" and the chart-topping "Nana."

Swangz Avenue's golden boy, Elijah Kitaka also delivered an exhilarating performance featuring songs like "Nothing," "Ndi Wuwo" and "Elevated."

The stage also witnessed the promising all-girl trio, Warafiki, showcasing their energy.

I&M Bank Uganda took advantage of the event to highlight the convenience and benefits of the new I&M MasterCard Cards. Annette Nakiyaga, the Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the bank, expressed their delight at providing customers with both a musical extravaganza and a firsthand experience of their card's perks.

The event's hosts, Zuba and Saint Trevor, engaged the audience brilliantly, while DJs Alza and Ssese's skillful turntable performance set the atmosphere ablaze.
