Hillary Baguma the Brand Manager of Mainstream Spirits Uganda Breweries Limited revealed that Uganda Waragi and Nyege Nyege are a perfect pairing because they all celebrate what is uniquely Ugandan.

“Uganda Waragi is a bold and vibrant spirit, making it a natural fit for this event that brings together the creative arts to showcase their talent. As the spirit that binds us, Uganda Waragi celebrates all things uniquely Ugandan, uniting us in an experience like no other.”

The festival, themed the "Afro-Galactic Carnival," is set to take place from 14th to 17th November 2024 at the Jinja Nile Resort-Bukaya in the Njeru district. Last year's Nyege Nyege festival was a massive success, held across three sites along the Nile River, including the Jinja Golf Course, Source of the Nile, and the Jinja Showground. The 2023 event saw over 7,000 attendees, more than 300 artists across 7 stages, and hundreds of exhibitions celebrating diverse talents and cultures.
