Despite their music chemistry, once in a while, their opinions differ on some topics. Which is okay!
In a recent interview, when they were asked to name their first hit, Kent named Pull Up which -- was co-produced by Erisa Mukisa, alias Producer Skillz -- and Vad, real name Vad Namanda.
On his part, Flosso named Byafayo, which was also produced by Skillz, who also goes by Skillz on the Beat.
According to Kent, it's because of Pull UP that they flew out of the country to collaborate with stars like Wyre and P. Unit on the remix of the song. These Kenyan stars initiated the conversation. Even Arrow Boy, who featured on Karole Kasita's recent E.P., wanted in on the remix. Arrow Boy is also Kenyan.
He said the remix expanded their footprint in Kenya.
Flosso argued for Byafayo because it's the song that first made them good money and scored them an upcountry fanbase.
They later both noted that Overdose, their collaboration with Vinka, made them more money than the aforementioned songs. They also harmonised on Pull Up being their first hit.
Overdose was also produced by Skillz and the video, now at 4.4 million views on YouTube, was directed by Marvin Musoke.
