Held last week, the festival attracted thousands of revellers who gathered at the Jahazi Pier to enjoy a mix of entertainment, food, and drinks.
The unveiling of Bell Citrus was a highlight of the event, with a lively dance performance from a group of dancers dressed in lime-green outfits, symbolising the beer’s vibrant citrus flavour.

Their energetic performance resonated with the crowd, capturing the spirit of the new beer, which combines a balance of lemon and lime with the traditional taste of Bell Lager.
At the Bell Citrus Innovation Hub, festival-goers were able to fully immerse themselves in the Bell Citrus experience.
The hub featured insta-worthy photo booths, body art, and painting activities, offering an engaging atmosphere where guests could enjoy the new beer with their friends in a relaxed setting.
During the launch, Simon Lapyem, Innovations Project Manager at Uganda Breweries, expressed excitement about introducing the flavoured beer.
"Most of our consumers are gravitating towards flavoured drinks, and Bell Citrus offers the perfect balance of lemon, lime, and beer," he noted.
He emphasised that Bell ObaFest was the ideal platform for unveiling Bell Citrus, given the festival’s growing reputation as a major event on Uganda’s social calendar.
With the successful launch of Bell Citrus, Uganda Breweries continues to expand its offerings, catering to changing consumer preferences.
The festival, which also featured performances from leading Ugandan artists like Vinka, Bebe Cool, and Fik Fameica, further cemented Bell ObaFest as a must-attend event for beer lovers across the region.
