Ray G's wife Annabelle fuels divorce rumours with cryptic TikTok post

Annabelle Twinomugisha has set tongues wagging with a cryptic post on TikTok, fuelling speculation about the status of her marriage to popular Ugandan singer Ray G. The post comes amidst swirling rumours that the couple's marriage has come to an end.

The rumour mill kicked into overdrive when controversial model Doreen Kabereebe shared an explosive post on Facebook, claiming that the couple had already separated. Kabereebe wrote, "Nkooye okusilikila olugambo [I can no longer keep quiet about this rumour]. Ray G and wife obufumbo bwagwaawo dda [Ray and wife ended their marriage]. Annabelle yali ayagala to kill herself nga alaba obufumbo bugenda omukulu na'asalawo to divorce her omwana teyetila mu nyumba nga bakyali wamu [Annabelle wanted to kill herself, so Ray G decided to divorce so she doesn’t do it while they are still together]. Imagine all the money wasted on the lavish wedding 😞 now they're finalizing their divorce from court."

Further complicating the situation is the involvement of Ray G's ex-girlfriend, Liz Ankunda Namara, whose name resurfaced following the tragic death of Ray G and Annabelle’s second-born daughter, Angel, in 2021. Namara reportedly made a chilling post on Facebook, insinuating that she had some role in the child's death.

She wrote, “Dear Ray G, I warned you to be careful with me after messing up the good life we had built together but you couldn’t listen coz that ka Mbarara public psy had opened her dirty psy for you, now look at you!!!”

In the same post, Namara added, "My beloved ex, I will not rest until you pay for my years and money you wasted.. Unless that, you gonna cry until you leave this world."

It is believed that Ray G, whose real name is Reagan Muhairwe, and Namara dated for three years, during which time she supported him financially. Their relationship reportedly ended when Ray G left her for Annabelle.

Amidst the storm of accusations and rumours, Annabelle posted a TikTok clip dancing to Vinka and Nwagi's hit song Amaaso, which features lyrics about a woman deeply in love with a man. The specific part of the song she chose to highlight goes: "They say we are pretending... you are deep into my heart... I had given up on love but you are exceptional... you handle me professional... when you call, I'll come running fast."
