All my good friends whom I partied with in December who are struggling for school fees, maybe rent; I have taken 50 million from the bank [he doesn't mention the currency], so do your best. And all my good friends, you know each other. They know themselves. So, I have 50 million here, come and help yourself. Don't say, oh, Jack Pemba doesn't help us, he only drinks with us, he parties with us, no. Today is January 10th, 2023. I've taken 50 million come and help yourself. Two o'clock at the moment, until five o'clock,.. you may not see me again because, you know why? I'm taking someone special to Paris for a dinner, at the Eifel Tower, today. So, guys, this is Jack Pemba, the one and only."

Pemba, real name Jackson Akim Pemba, was for a while a big name in showbiz but his star started to dim when he was arrested over fake gold transactions that saw him in debt of over Shs2.5 billion in 2017.

But the flamboyant socialite later took to his Instagram to deny the arrest, asking God to bless President Yoweri Museveni.
