In an interview on Sunday, Skin questioned Bobi Wine’s claims that he’s the legitimately elected President of Uganda, yet there is another president who has effectively banned him from singing.
“He’s basically no longer a musician today,” said Skin, when asked if he would consider a collaboration with the Ghetto President.
“True, he’s releasing music every now and then, but we release music to perform it at concerts, not to keep it on the shelves.”
“I heard him say that he’s the president of Uganda; how then can he say that he was banned from holding concerts; that means there is another President above him.”
Alien Skin and Bobi Wine’s relations seem to have failed to improve despite the two having a lot in common as successful artists made good from the ghetto.
Skin has long been at loggerheads with Bobi Wine’s fans who feel he owes respect and gratitude to the self-styled ghetto gladiator.
But the Fangone Forest boss blames the apparent bad blood on political fanatics.
Recently, he threatened to form his own political party and name it “Fangone Unity Platform.”
Asked yesterday about this idea, he said, he planned to establish the party, but not formalize it real political issues.
