Singer Mr. Lee, whose real name is Richard Mugisha, announced on Instagram on May 11 that he has a child with Agnes Kirabo, the Youth MP for Central Region.
The B2C star shared the news on Mother’s Day, adding that Kirabo plans to run for Woman MP in Luwero District.
Rumours of their child first surfaced in June 2024, but neither confirmed it until now.
Kirabo, a graduate of Makerere University with a master’s degree in Business Administration, belongs to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).

In the 2021 elections, she defeated six male candidates, securing 780 votes to become Youth MP for Central Region, beating former Makerere University Guild President Ivan Bwowe.
Before parliament, Kirabo worked at the NRM secretariat as secretary for female affairs and as an auditor. She now serves on the Committee on Trade, Tourism, and Industry.
Kirabo is not the first MP linked to a singer. Phiona Nyamutoro, the National Female Youth MP, married singer Eddy Kenzo, and they have a son.
Nyamutoro, the Minister of State for Energy and Mineral Development (Minerals), confirmed today she will run for Nebbi District Woman MP.
