A key highlight of the festival is the announcement that Uganda Waragi will sponsor the event, with its Lemon and Ginger variant taking centre stage.

The sponsorship was officially revealed during a Ranchers Finest endorsed cook-off between influencer Albert Katuruguma and The Mith at Shisa Nyama Village in Bugoloobi. Influencers and media members gathered for the event, which set the tone for what promises to be an exciting weekend of food, music, and cultural exchange.

A Perfect Partnership for Culture and Connection

Hillary Baguma, the Brand Manager for Uganda Waragi at Uganda Breweries, spoke about the brand’s commitment to celebrating Ugandan culture and its deep connection to key entertainment moments.

"Uganda Waragi has been central at key moments of celebration within the Ugandan entertainment scene. And as the spirit that binds us, Ndeku Nyama Choma Festival was the perfect platform to bind our consumers in the true essence of celebration, culture, and connection,” Baguma said.

The festival organisers also praised Uganda Waragi’s involvement, highlighting how it aligns perfectly with the festival’s values of unity, cultural diversity, and heritage.

Akankwasa Junior, the festival organiser, noted, “Uganda Waragi’s sponsorship is a perfect match for what the Ndeku Nyama Choma Festival stands for – celebrating our African heritage, bringing people together, and embracing the diversity of our cultures."

Festival-goers can look forward to live music performances, a wide range of roasted delicacies, cultural showcases, and of course, Uganda Waragi's signature Lemon and Ginger, which will perfectly complement the lively atmosphere of the event.
