Bruno K, born Bruno Kiggundu, kicked off his highly anticipated live TikTok show "Ekiboozi."
The debut episode, which followed his split from singer Crysto Panda, drew an impressive 33,000-plus live viewers and garnered over 14 million likes.
The show started at 10pm and ran late into the night, with a peak viewership at 11:19pm.
Bruno K has announced that the show will air every Monday, Friday, and Saturday at 10pm.
During the live show, Maama Fiina, also known as Sylvia Namutebi, made a generous donation of Shs10 million to Bruno K, a gesture that sparked a wave of financial support from viewers.
Bruno K's close friend Nakazibwe expressed her pride in his achievements, commenting, "This is just the beginning. I'm so proud of you."
Who is Bruno K?
Bruno K was born on July 21, 1992, in Mukono District, Central Uganda, to Cissy Kasozi and Donovan Kiggundu.
He attended Kitante Primary School, Seroma Christian High School, and later Naggalama SS, where he earned his Uganda Certificate of Education and UACE Certificate.
He pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication at Ndejje University. His rise to fame began after securing second place in the Airtel Trace Star music contest in 2015.
Bruno K’s passion for music began in his church choir, where he sang alongside his father.
This early exposure led him to participate in music, dance, and drama at school. His big break came when he joined the Pearl Music band at university and was spotted by MC Kats during a performance at Centenary Park.
After competing in the Airtel Trace Music Challenge, he finished in second place, which marked the start of his professional music career.
