On 8 March 2025, the prestigious Beefeater Women’s Day Cocktail took centre stage at Naguru Skyz Hotel, bringing together an exclusive audience of influential women from entertainment, entrepreneurship, tourism, politics, media, and corporate leadership.

Organised by Talent Africa Group, the invite-only event provided a platform for inspiration, discussion, and empowerment under the theme "Accelerate Action for Gender Equality".

Attendees arrived in elegant orange-themed attire, symbolising a brighter and more inclusive future for women. The event’s host, Sylvia Namutebi Allibhai, a Director at Talent Africa Group and former beauty queen, set the tone with an empowering message.

A special Women in Business panel, powered by Entrepreneurs’ Organization Uganda (EO Uganda), highlighted the challenges and successes of female entrepreneurs.

A Night of Culture, Music, and Celebration

The evening was more than just discussions—it was a cultural and entertainment-filled experience. Guests enjoyed a spectacular performance by Jackie Chandiru and an electrifying dance showcase by Dance with Valentino.

Several of Uganda’s top female musicians and dancers graced the event, including Lilian Mbabazi, Nina Roz, Lydia Jazmine, and Rachael K. Renowned dancers Rita Dancehall, Dance Mamweta, and Cathy Patra brought energy to the evening. Current Miss Uganda Natasha Nyonyonzi and several former beauty queens also attended, adding to the glamour of the event.

Adding a fashion and beauty element, stylish pop-up shops by Fix by Oringa, Queen Ma, and Gosh Glam allowed guests to explore curated collections.

A Growing Platform for Women’s Empowerment

The Beefeater Women’s Day Cocktail has become an annual highlight, championing women’s empowerment, collaboration, and gender equality.

Thanks to the support of Talent Africa Group, Entrepreneurs’ Organization Uganda (EO Uganda), Protea Naguru Skyz Hotel, and Beefeater Gin, the event continues to provide a space for women to network, learn, and inspire each other.

With each edition, the event strengthens Uganda’s community of powerful women, ensuring that their contributions and achievements are recognised. As it continues to grow, it remains a key force in inspiring change and accelerating gender equality.
