Mulaasi says there are many things about Alien Skin that remind him of his younger self.
Both of them, he says, share a love for raising and grooming younger artists.
At the peak of his music career, Mulaasi is known to have groomed young artists such as Ricardo Omuto, who together with the likes of Baby Gloria and Fresh Kid enjoyed a lot of limelight at a very young age.
“When I picked up Ricardo, he was only six years old. I like that Alien is doing the same thing for (Champion) Ogudo. I am proud of what he’s turned that boy into. It is not an easy thing to do,” said the 'Best Man' singer in an interview.

Mulaasi also noted that just like himself, Skin is currently taking care of a big group of people at his home.

“I used to live in a gated house with over 30 dependents. All those those women you saw in my videos were my workers, apart from one of them called Nakibineka who was my wife,” he said.
“I sheltered, fed and dressed all of them and their families and children.
“The fact that Alien Skin is also able to take care of all those people behind him, he deserves a lot of credit for that.
"Because that means that if he’s being paid Shs 5million per show, 4million is going to cater for his dependents.”
Mulaasi says although he and Alien Skin are not personal friends, he’s met him once and given him some pointers about succeeding in the music industry.
