The incident happened during the rush hour at about 8PM (EAT).

Eyewitnesses say the train operator hooted the siren but there was not response from the driver of the trailer which resulted into a collision

Traffic is being diverted after the accident blocked the main road and some passengers, especially those who were using the train, are stranded.

Authorities haven't issued any statement but preliminary reports indicate that there are no casualties so far.
