The transfer controversy involving Osimhen has been in the news for the past few months due to multiple unsuccessful discussions.
The likes of PSG and Chelsea tried to lure the forward, but the French side could not pay for his release clause while Chelsea were offering the forward a pay cut, which he declined.
Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli then came into the picture with their offer and agreed on a deal before the transfer window closed.
Osimhen moves to Saudi Arabia
Osimhen has finally completed his move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli after several months of transfer speculations.
The Saudi Arabian side announced the signing of the Super Eagles star on their X account for a fee worth €65 million.
The Super Eagles star agreed to a four-year deal with the Saudi Arabian side, which will see him become one of the highest-paid footballers in the world.
Victor Osimhen gave Al-Ahli some conditions, which were met by the club before accepting to move to Saudi Arabia.
The Nigerian forward reportedly asked for a huge salary package and a release clause in the contract.
Osimhen was close to signing for Chelsea, but the Blues were unable to meet his demands, leaving the door open for the Saudi Arabian side.
With Osimhen’s deal now completed, the striker will be looking to start a new journey in his career with Al-Ahli.
