Uhuru arrives at John DeMathew's funeral (Photos)

President Uhuru Kenyatta has arrived at the funeral of legendary Kikuyu musician, John De Mathew.

President Uhuru joined thousands of mourners who turned up to pay their last respects to the singer who died in an accident.

Other leaders present at the funeral include; Deputy President William Ruto, several members of parliament, senators and governors.

John Nga'nga' alias John DeMathew died on Sunday evening in a tragic road crash.

DeMathew, who was driving alone in his car, rammed into a lorry near Blue Post Hotel and was rushed to Thika Nursing Home where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
