In a tweet, the lawyer said that Betty was the biggest news anchor in Kenya while she worked for KTN, but their scandalous story involving Governor Joho was betrayal and deceitful.

“Whilst Betty Kyallo was at KTN, she was the Biggest TV anchor in Kenya ... Standard Group (SG) owns KTN, Standard & Nairobian.... Today, SG thro’ Nairobian betrayed Betty thro’ its scandalous headlines ... What SG did against Betty was Treachery & Subterfuge.. SG went Low,” said Lawyer Kipkorir.

Hassan Joho

The paper claimed that Joho took back a BMW X6, a Porsche Cayenne and the house he had bought for Betty in Nairobi’s Kilimani area after their breakup leaving her homeless.

Things were allegedly so bad that Joho repossessed the car as she was driving along Mombasa road.

"Joho took his house and the BMW. The Porsche Cayenne was repossessed from Betty when she was behind the wheels on Mombasa Road. She was forced to park off the road near Nyayo Stadium and pick her stuff before Joho’s security detail seized it,” read part of the story.
