Police reports indicate that Ms. Nalule was kidnapped by suspected taxi operators on her way to school.

Her family also revealed that the suspected taxi operators were demanding UGX10m in ransom -- the amount they failed to raise -- rather negotiating for UGX5m.

Police discovered her body after the kidnappers phoned the family to pay UGX5m to know the whereabouts of their girl's body.

Authorities say the killers strangled and suffocated the 19-year-old girl before dumping her body in Kibaawo zone in Mutundwe, Rubaga Division.

Investigations are ongoing to find the killers.
