Kenzo has been serving as Kenya's tourism ambassador since 2017 for their campaign #TugendeKenya, an appointment that caused controversy among the country’s citizens.

The singer took it to social media to announce his new partnership with Uganda Wildlife Authority which will see him "work hand in hand with all tourism departments to promote our tourist attractions and wildlife conservation".

The new partnership comes weeks after he donated several awards, including his only BET Award, to Uganda Museum and Uganda Wildlife Authority.
