The 28-year-old singer explained during an interview with Juliana Kanyomozi how that moment still brings tears to her eyes.

"I remember when I was young, she was locked out of the house over UGX8,000 in rent arrears. I saw her break down in tears and it broke my heart," she said.

Years later, the celebrated musician doesn't have to worry about the people, especially her mother and 5 siblings, she promised herself to take care of.

Her storeyed house in Munyonyo is near completion and looks beautiful. Sheebah's 5-year-old music career is paying off and there is no doubt that she is possibly the highest earning female musician in Uganda at the moment.

She believes in her work ethic and believes she works extra time more than the male musicians -- something that has helped her attain so much success in just five years.
