Singer Juliana Kanyomozi launched her online talk show series on Friday called
The show, in its first season, will host 6 female celebrities including musicians Sheebah Karungi & Rema Namakula, fashion designer Anita Berly, NTV news anchor and show host Faridah Nakazibwe, media personality Sheila Gashumba and dancer Viccy.
The singer hosts musician Sheebah Karungi in the premiere of the online talk show about her real-life experiences.
Karungi has opened up about her life, career and family, especially the controversy that surrounds the relationship between her and the late 'father'.
Her mother is her biggest inspiration
Sheebah told Juliana that she gives credit to her mother for positively influencing her life.
"I have watched my mother raise 6 children, 5 hers and one our cousin. I don't know how she managed to do it, she didn't have a basic job that can even give her one million," she says.
She adds that: "I remember when I was young, she was locked out of the house over UGX8,000 in rent arrears. I saw her broke down and it broke my heart".
"That is why is not all about her and that small family she raised".
The biological father who was 'never in her life'
The 28-year-old singer spoke honestly about her late biological father. Last year, several news outlets reported that Sheebah's father had barred from singing and that he 'cursed' her.
Controversy brew after the singer failed to attend her late father's burial. In the interview, she says her mother told her about her father's death a day after burial because "she didn't bother" -- because "she knows".
"My father was never there even at any point in my life even when he was alive. When he died, they started saying that I don't even care because I didn't go to the burial. Social media buried me," Karungi explained in the interview.
"They don't know the pain that man caused my mother, they don't know the pain that man caused me as a child. They don't know the person I became because of that man".
