Jamaican-American reggae singer Tarrus Riley is finally coming to Kampala, Uganda, after several months of speculation.
The multi-award winning singer and member of the Rastafari movement has been announced as the headlining act at Swangz Avenue's 10th-anniversary celebrations.
The organisers made the announcement saying they "have already concluded everything with Tarrus Riley and his management".
The 39-year-old singer is popular for songs like "don't come back", "just the way you're", "sorry is a sorry word", "gimme likkle one drop", "Human nature" among others.
The 10th-anniversary celebrations dubbed "Swangz All-Star Concert" will be held on August 31st at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
The concert will also be graced by Ugandan musicians including Navio, Bebe Cool, Winnie Nwagi, Vinka, Fik Fameica, Ykee Benda among others.
Last year, Tarrus Riley's show in Kampala was cancelled after the organisers failed to get sponsors on board.
