But she is revealing now that Bebe Cool is the reason the highly anticipated battle has not happened.

Biggie told press on Tuesday that the Gagamel entertainment boss somehow developed cold feet, and has yet to confirm participation.

The battle is coming, it is not something that is to be rushed, we are still preparing while also waiting for him, (Bebe Cool) to let us know when he is ready,” she said.

Earlier there were claims in the media that Bebe Cool was uncomfortable taking on the Leone Island maestro, and that he was deploying delay tactics including hiking his cut.

In October, Biggie announced that both artists had asked for Shs 2 billion.

There is still hope

However, the showrunner is still hopeful that the battle will proceed as planned in the near future.

What I know is that Bebe is a cautious person and he likes to take his time; we’ll just wait until he tells us, it's time,” she added.

Biggie Events organized Chameleone’s last major concert dubbed “Gwanga Mujje” at Lugogo Cricket Oval at the start of 2023.

Mutabukwa is relatively new in the music promotion industry. The concert by the Loene Island boss was in fact her first major concert.
