Among the injured are 12 Limuru Girls’ high school students.

The accident happened when a lorry rammed into the School bus at Juja weigh bridge along Thika road.

Eye witnesses revealed that the police office was conducting an inspection on the school bus when he was crashed in between the two vehicles.

He was rushed to Thika Level 5 Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The injured were rushed to Thika Level 5 Hospital with one of the students injured admitted at the hospital’s ICU.

Good Samaritans were the first to respond to the accident, pulling the survivors out of the mangled wreck and rushing them to hospital.

Juja OCPD Patrick Manyasi confirmed the Saturday morning accident.
