New twist in recent Makerere University sexual harassment case

Police have submitted evidence to forensics department for analysis in the recent sexual harassment case at Ugandas oldest university, Makerere; where a student shared a photo of a senior administrator, Edward Kisuze, in a conflicting position under her dress.

Two phones obtained from Ms. Njoroge were submitted as exhibits in the sexual harassment case -- and they are believed to contain conversations and photos between the two.

Mr. Kisuze is facing charges of of rape and sexual harassment, according to Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire Luke

The directive to analyse the phones came from the office of Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) and the analysis file will include "expert opinions from analysts" before submitting it again to the DPP.

Meanwhile, police haven't found any witness in the sexual harassment case against the Makerere University administrator.

Mr. Kisuze, who is still under custody at Wandegeya Police station, denied being the person in the viral conflicting photo despite admitting to have had an affair with the student.
