Then Prime Minister Mbabazi, Ministers Hilary Onek and Sam Kuteesa were accused of taking bribes to facilitate transactions of oil companies in Uganda.

In his appeal, Severino Twinobusingye says the ruling by Justice Kakuru as a single judge of the Court of Appeal was unfair.

He wants court to present him with a copy of the ruling to enable him make ground for his appeal, according to the court documents.

Mr. Twinobusingye's court rewards were slashed after court ruled that there was nothing special that justified the "excessive" reward of UGX12bn.

The UGX12bn court cost is arguably the largest court reward ever given out to an individual in Uganda.
