Major Highway blocked as matatu saccos clash [Photos]

A major highway has been blocked after two matatu saccos clashed on Saturday morning.

According to reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke, the two saccos blocked the Narok-Nairobi-Bomet highway because of a dispute over a passenger stage.

The two matatu saccos are said to have claimed ownership of the stage that is in Narok town.

Further reports say that business in the town was brought to a standstill as members of the rival saccos hurled stones and burnt tires along the highway.

Police from the area were forced to use teargas, to disperse members of the two saccos.
