The songstress, whose real name is Lydia Nabawanuka, has worked with two male managers, that is, Producer Bushington, real name George Bush Kago, and Ronnie Mulindwa, the co-founder of Obsessions.

She revealed in a recent interview that they are the only manager she's worked with since joining the music industry. Mulinda took her on after she fell out with Bushington in 2022.

She said she was the one who sought the service of Mulindwa, the founder of the now-defunct Obsessions. They had met when she was still at university. They signed a 3-year contract and decided not to renew it.

Lydia Nabawanuka, known professionally as Jazmine, made a significant impact in the music industry through her collaboration with George William Kigozi, better known as Geosteady, on the song "Same Way." This track, crafted by producer Nessim, quickly gained popularity.

Jazmine, born in 1991, started gaining recognition in the mainstream music scene when producer Bushington brought her on board as a backup vocalist for the duo Mowzey Radio and Weasel Manizo. She contributed her talents to their tracks Breathe Away and Ntunga, produced by Michael Fingers and Nessim, respectively.

Her vocal prowess also extended to collaborations with artists like Pallaso, Sheeba Kalungi, and Bebe Cool. Jazmine's debut single, You Know, featuring Rabadaba and produced by Nessim, marked her solo entry into the music world. She was managed by Bushington under his Necta Music label.

2016 saw the late Radio compose the song Nkubanja for Jazmine, which was released in 2017 and produced by the late Danz Kumapeesa. In 2018, Jazmine continued her upward trajectory with the release of the ballad You and Me, a collaboration with Daddy Andre.
