Kalembe Ndile, who was the party leader of The Independent Party (TIP), which folded to join Jubilee, confirmed that all was not well in the Jubilee camp.

He further stated that unless things improved, he was ready to summon 3000 delegates of the TIP party and walk out of the Jubilee partnership.

“In Jubilee we have a faction that supports DP Ruto, the other one is behind President Uhuru and third one is loyal to Mr Odinga.”

“I have called each of the 3,000 delegates I took to Kasarani when we attended the launch of Jubilee advising them to disassociate themselves with the ruling party,” Ndile said.

The former TIP leader added that he had been promised a job once President Uhuru Kenyatta was re-elected but has been kept on the periphery since August.

According to the Jubilee merger agreements, parties which dissolved cannot be re-registered until a period of five years has lapsed.
