Nyege Nyege festival will go on as planned starting September 6th until September 9th after high level meeting.
Festival goers on Tuesday were outrage after Uganda's ethics minister released a statement calling for the ban of the annual event.
The government and festival organisers held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss a way forward to ensure that the festival happens as planned.
The two parties agreed on a couple of things, including denying access to persons under the age of 18 to the festival after 6 pm and 9 other conditions.

Additional security
Uganda police will provide additional security at Nyege Nyege festival. They will beef up Tight Security, a private security firm contracted by the organisers.
Police will be provided with a detailed program of the event to facilitate the deployment of security personnel.
Adults only
The festival will be accessed by persons over the age of 18 after 6 pm. Production of evidence of age shall be mandatory in case of any doubt.
Accreditation will be done by the Uganda police together with the event organisers to ensure no breach of the agreement.
Proper guidelines
The government and Nyege Nyege festival organisers agreed on the provision of proper guidelines at the entrance.
The move is aimed at prohibiting the use of drugs, homosexuality, open sex and other acts of immorality.
