Rwandas President Paul Kagame is expected in Uganda on Sunday 25th for a one-day working visit.
He is expected to hold bilateral meeting with President Museveni at State House in Entebbe.
His visit comes days after President Museveni snubbed the African Continental Free Trade Area Treaty meeting during AU summit in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali.
President Museveni was represented by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sam Kuteesa at the AU summit in Kigali as 44 African countries signed the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
It’s alleged that President Museveni cancelled his trip after his advance security team and the Rwandan security failed to work out his itinerary.
President Paul Kagame’s one day state visit is being seen as a move aimed at smoothening both political and economic tensions between the two countries.
