Joey Muthengi opens up on her exit from Citizen TV, admits to struggling
Media personality Joey Muthengi has confessed that walking out of Royal Media Services owned station Citizen TV was not an easy decision to make.
On Monday, the former 10 over 10 host, marked exactly one year since parting ways Citizen TV, disclosing she experienced tough times after ending relationship with the SK Macharia owned station.
However, she pointed out that later things fell in place and now life is good. She left Citizen TV back in November last year.
It was a very difficult decision
“Hey November! Today marks one year since I left my last job. It was a very difficult decision and I had no idea where I was headed afterwards. Won't lie I've had some tough days. Yet God has guided me to the place I am now. Today I am happy, I am content and I know that I am loved. I'm so thankful for the people who have stuck by me and encouraged me along the way. God bless” wrote Joey Muthengi.
In May, Ms Muthengi re-joined her former Employer Capital FM to host a show dubbed "The Jam984” replacing Cess Mutungi who exited the station after 10 years.
On the other hand Joey was also offered another job by the Voice of America popularly known as VOA.
Joey's Working Experience
“Omg. Voice Of America was my 1st internship. While still in college. I can't even. Look at God,” shared Joey Muthengi.
She kicked off her media career at Capital FM hosting the popular rock show ‘The Fuse’ before taking up the spot on ‘Hits Not Homework’.
Joey has also worked with Channel O, Ebru TV, Hot 96 and Tusker Project Fame as the host.
