Grammy award-winning jazz bassist and vocalist Bona Pinder Yayumayalolo, better known as Richard Bona, has arrived in Kampala, Uganda.
The Cameroon born jazz maestro will headline the 11th edition of Jazz Safari at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
His performance, the first ever in Uganda. is part of his world which started on June 2nd in Moscow, Russia. Uganda is the only African nation where is he performing.
The concert will also be graced by other talented artists including Kaz Kasozi, BlackRoots UNLIMITED featuring TShaka Mayanja, Michael Kitanda, Aloysius Migadde and Musaazi Tonny.
After his performance in Kampala, Bona is expected to perform in Budapest, Hungary mid next month.
Preparations for the concert are underway at Speke Resort Munyonyo near the shores of Lake Victoria.
Part of his team spent most of the day at the venue checking out the stage ahead of his performance on Saturday.
