ICPAU set to host the 11th CPA Economic Forum

The Forum, which will be held at the Imperial Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe from July 19 to 21, will focus on national priorities such as socio-economic development.

The event is expected to be graced by high-profile individuals such as the Government Chief Whip, Dennis Hamson Obua, who will deliver a key note address at the event.

According to ICPAU, Obua will provide valuable insights into Uganda's development agenda.

"His presence underscores the significance of the CPA Economic Forum as a platform for influential figures to engage in constructive dialogue and contribute to Uganda's socioeconomic transformation," a statement issued by ICPAU stated.

Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) spokesperson, Brig. Felix Kulayigye, is also expected at the event and will give an address on nation-building.

"Brigadier Kulayigye's expertise in security and nation-building will provide a unique perspective on one of the key topics of discussion during the event," the statement read.

The 11th CPA Economic Forum will feature in-depth conversations and debates on topics derived from Uganda's third National Development Plan (NDP III).

These include: Cooperative Societies as a Driver for Socio-Economic transformation; the role of Security in Nation building; Empowering Communities through Agricultural Value addition; Labour Exports: Socio-Economic Benefits and Challenges, Education Sector: Reforms in Curriculum, Uganda’s Oil and Gas Sector: Value Chain for Public Value, Hospital, Tourism Management, and Marketing Industrialisation as a Driver for Self-Reliance
