The Kidoti founder and C.E.O was the Youth League leader of President John Magufuli’s party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) before her recent appointment.

In an interview with Tanzania Kwanza TV, the talented actress divulged that some things such as emotions and feelings towards a person cannot be explained.

“I don’t know, sijui. Ni emotions and feelings. There are some things you cannot explain. Siwezi kuelezea. Walai sijui, ningejua ningekuelezea,” she said.

After breaking up with the Wasafi Records C.E.O, Jokate went on to date Alikiba. However, the two broke up and Alikiba went on to marry Amina Khalef.

The Kidoti C.E.O was the best actress in the Zanzibar International Film Festival in2011.

In 2017, she was included in Forbes 30 Under 30 in Africa. In August 2017 she was named by Africa Youth Awards as among of 100 Most Influential Young Africans.

In 2006, she was the first runner up in the Miss Tanzania beauty contest.
