IPSOS Uganda released the National Audience Measurement Survey report this week which samples data generated at the beginning of the 2018. The report statistically represents a random sample of 3,465 interviews.

50% of Ugandans spend their leisure time visiting family and friends -- this practice dominates in the Southwest Ankole and Bugisu region which "seem to be more close to their families".

Furthermore, the report indicates that 28% of Ugandans spend their leisure time on soccer-related activities and 11% spend their free time in bars.

"Even those who can't play would rather watch," the report says.
