ODM Assembly Member dies

Homabay Member of the County Assembly (MCA), Ms Esther Dwallo has died.

In a statement by the Orange Democratic Party (ODM), Ms Dwallo died after a long illness while undergoing treatment at the Aga Khan Hospital in Kisumu.

"We are saddened by the news of the passing on of Hon. Esther Dwallo, a member of the County Assembly of Homabay after a long illness bravely borne," the statement read in part.

"She was a dedicated member of the party & an astute debater in the Assembly. We pray for her family during this moment of grief," it continued.
