Governor Joyce Laboso dies

Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso has died at Nairobi Hospital after a long illness.

Laboso, succumbed to cancer at the Nairobi Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where she was admitted, according to her family.

She had returned to the country two weeks ago after being away in India and the United Kingdom seeking medical treatment.

The Bomet governor had been admitted at Nairobi hospital where she was receiving treatment.

Deputy President William Ruto was among leaders who rushed to the hospital to condole the family Monday afternoon.
