 The government has sent a rapid response team to Ongata Rongai after it emerged lady who tested positive for coronavirus lived there.

Speaking during a presser on Friday, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe stated that all persons who had been in contact with the patient will be traced.

"We have embarked on a contract tracing for all persons who have been in contact with her," CS Mutahi Kagwe stated.

"We have sent a rapid response team to Ongata Rongai area where she lives for that purpose. There should be no panic," he added.

The Health CS stated that the patient was not to blame for testing positive as he further added that she was very cooperative with medics.

CS Kagwe said: "The lady who has tested positive for coronavirus is not to blame. She has given information of everyone she has been in contact with. We have traced those who were on the flight with her."
