Over the past year, significant resources have been allocated to programs like the Frontline Leadership Development Programme and Communication Skills, all with the goal of nurturing talent and enhancing leadership capabilities.
Launched in October 2022, the Frontline Leadership Development Programme brought together 15 participants from various departments. They underwent training in areas such as Leading Teams, Transitioning from Team Member to Team Leader, Time Management, and Communication Skills.
Catherine Gita, the Human Resource Director at CCBU, highlighted the company's commitment to cultivating leadership at all levels.
She emphasized that this initiative has contributed significantly to building a company that values employee growth and invests in their personal development and leadership skills, regardless of gender or other factors.
The Frontline Leadership Development Program according to Gita, primarily focuses on enhancing technical leadership skills, equipping managers and proficient individuals with the tools needed to progress to the next level of leadership.
Participants in the program acquired leadership competencies that have improved the agility and performance of the business.
Daniel Mwesige, the Warehouse Manager at CCBU, expressed gratitude for the program, citing the valuable skills he gained, including conducting individual SWOT analyses, understanding relationship dynamics, effective communication, and more.
