Taking to social media, Mwangangi shared Photos after reporting to work at BBC offices in Nairobi along Kijabe Street.

Mwangangi used to be NTV’s coastal region correspondent, but he parted ways with station on July 13, 2018 through a farewell party that had been organized by his colleagues at the Mombasa Bureau.

“My new home. A new chapter ,”shared Peter Mwangangi.

Details of Mwangangi’s new role at BBC remain unclear, but while at NTV he had been working on various feature stories at the coast, including security, especially Al-Shabaab related stories in Mombasa, Kilifi and Kwale counties.

Another exit

Meanwhile former NTV Business Reporter Hudheifa Aden also joined BBC at the same time as Mwangangi.

Aden will now be operating under his former colleague at Nation Larry Madowo who was hired as the BBC Business Editor, Africa.
