The 46-year-old Bulgarian national jumped from a stationary plane which was preparing for Dubai from Entebbe Airport – she jumped through the emergency door and was rushed to the hospital -- she died on arrival.

Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima told media that preliminary reports indicate a possibility of suicide based on the footage evidence got from the plane.

“We have looked at it from every angle but what we have now is that she most likely committed suicide. She had the means. Having worked as a cabin crew member for two decades, she knew what to do and what its implication would be,“ he said.
