Hajj Ali K. Mugagga was suspended over sexual harassment allegations after formation of a committee to gather evidence of sexual abuse

The report was tabled by the school’s association of former students, Kibuli SS Old Students Association (KOSA).

The report revealed a semblance of a "cartel of sexual predator staff at the school that prey on girls from poor backgrounds especially using the lure of sports scholarships" and some staff practiced sexual abuse and held a number of female students as prey.

It also revealed nepotism and corruption tendencies in the school especially in awarding of the sports scholarship.

The association recommended a series of actions including the sacking of the school's long-serving headteacher.

KOSA’s report on sexual harassment at Kibuli SSS prompt the association to seek Ministry of Education’s adoption of the Sexual Abuse and Misconduct Prevention Policy to prevent cases of abuse in schools.

Hajj Ali K. Mugagga was sent on forced leave on January 24th by KOSA after a whistle blower revealed the damning allegations.
