The court's arrest warrant orders the arrest of Mr. Pemba unless he deposits the said amount of money before 27th April, 2018.

This comes after the plaintiff, Mr. Kirumira, through his lawyers, claimed that he was aware of the respondent's intentions of leaving the country.

Pemba threw a lavish birthday party for his wife at Kampala Serena Hotel where Congolese Lingala maestro Koffi Olomide performed.

Last year, the plaintiff lent Pemba $300K and agreed to payback the money before December 31, 2017.

His source of money remains a mystery -- in 2017, he was investigated by Uganda and Tanzania police over money laundering and dealing in illegal gold.
