Coca-Cola Uganda achieves top employer recognition for 2026
Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU), has been recognised as a Top Employer for 2026 by the Top Employers Institute.
This accolade places the Ugandan operation amongst an elite group of seven countries within the CCBA footprint to receive such a distinction.
At a regional level, CCBA has further solidified its reputation by being certified as a Top Employer in Africa for 2026, marking the second consecutive year the group has achieved this regional milestone.
While operations in Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa, and Tanzania have successfully maintained their certification for another year, all four countries demonstrated marked improvements in their performance scores compared to the previous period.
The group’s reach continues to expand, with CCBA operations in Botswana, Kenya, and Mozambique earning their inaugural certifications this year.
The Top Employers Institute is the global authority in HR certification, operating across 125 countries and regions to benchmark and advise organisations on their people practices.
To achieve certification, CCBU underwent a rigorous HR Best Practices Survey. This comprehensive evaluation covers six critical domains: People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Wellbeing.
