Officials say since this week’s gruesome murders of two tourists and their driver in Queen Elizabeth by suspected ADF terrorists, some schools have started being sent warning letters from the same terror group.

The Bushenyi Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Robert Atuhairwe says

This is after handwritten leaflets allegedly from the ADF were dropped in Kyamuhunga Secondary School, Kyamuhunga Central, and Kabingo Model Primary Schools in the western districts, warning that the ADF will attack the schools if they do not close within two weeks

We as the district security committee are still considering whether the UPDF can be deployed at schools to man the gates alongside the school watchmen,” RDC Arinaitwe told reporters yesterday.

The RDC says they do not wish to take any chances following the October 17 attack in Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kasese where the ADF terrorist slaughters two tourists of British and South African nationalities who were out on a game drive.

President Yoweri Museveni while announcing another round of aerial bombardments by UPDF on ADC camps in DRC, said the hunt is still ongoing for those who murdered the tourists.

The President also ordered heightened security in the areas near the border.

The UPDF should involve the Police and the Wanainchi to hunt for these groups, running from Congo. They are no longer a military problem. They are; Police, popular vigilance, and anti-terrorism efforts. We are destroying their base in Congo,” said the president.
