Bebe Cool is a stupid man who doesn't know when and what to say - Chameleone
Musician Jose Chameleone has continued to distance himself from anything that will make him face the wrath of opposition supporters.
The father of five was among the musicians, including Bebe Cool, who composed a song called "Tubonga Nawe" in support of the ruling government in the 2016 presidential campaigns.
Chameleone made a smart move when the government brutally arrested and allegedly tortured musician-turned-MP Bobi Wine - the face of opposition.
He visited the 36-year-old legislator at the Lubaga Hospital shortly after his release on bail. A few days earlier, he has urged President Museveni to forgive him.
Responding to a fan on Instagram who commented on his picture saying: "Bebe says you are a coward en an opportunist" - the musician was quick to throw some shade to make his point clear.
"Maybe he’s a stupid man who doesn’t know when and what to say. But even the Bible says “ Forgive them father as they don’t know they are in sin” Period!!!!," Chameleone wrote.
Not the first time
Chameleone has openly come out to distance himself from the ruling government.
During a performance at a popular club in Kampala last month, he chanted "People Power" -- a slogan being used by the opposition led by Bobi Wine.
He said sleeping with a prostitute doesn't make her your wife as a reference to mean that despite having worked with the government in 2016, it doesn't make him part of it.
