Bebe Cool became a victim of "people power" movement - a growing revolution led by musician Bobi Wine - who is currently abroad for treatment following his brutal arrest on August 13th in the northern town of Arua.

Ssali accused Bobi Wine's fans of being behind his embarrassing night that was a near death experience.

Event promoters

Bebe Cool's announcement comes a day after the Federation of Uganda Promoters association urged security agencies to bar the singer from making any public peformance.

The association's president Abbey Musinguzi said the move is aimed at protecting the musician from other dangerous situations.

"I advise the police not to allow Bebe Cool to perform at any other concert. They will do something more than pelting bottles with urine.  People are angry, they don't want to hear anything about Bebe Cool. He should apologize to Ugandans," Musinguzi said.
