Early March, Bebe Cool helped a woman who camped outside his home seeking help for her child with heart complication.

The singer helped the woman, with support from other people, and facilitated travel and treatment facilities for her child in India.

Bebe Cool on Saturday shared the progress of the treatment of the child saying he was overjoyed by the great news of the child who underwent a successful first surgery.

“Could not hold back so I say I should share this great news about our lito baby we sent to India for a heart operation. All went well after her first operation though she's still in ICU but stable. I have always prayed to Allah to give me so I can give or make a difference in the lives of those that I can but I have been challenged by the events that brought us here,” he said, adding “This baby had never smiled because of pain but today the mother had a chance to see a smile off her baby's face and she took a pic.”

The child is among the six of children who will receive treatment at the best heart surgery facility in India.
