BBC journalist’s brother found after missing for weeks

British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Africa journalist Zawadi Mudibo’s elder brother who went missing about four weeks ago has finally been found.

In a post he shared on Facebook, Zawadi announced that his brother Dickson Toi Mudibo had been found alive and he was undergoing counselling.

He also promised to give further details of what led to his disappearance as he thanked God and his friends for their prayers and support.

“Good news people, my missing brother has been found. He is going through counseling. I know you want to hear more. We are also still getting details of what happened, but for now let's just thank God that he is well. Thanks for your prayer and support. Be blessed,” wrote Zawadi Mudibo.

Brother missing

The news of his return comes about four weeks after he announced that his brother was missing for a number of days.

He said that Dickson left his house for work at Mtopanga Estate in Mombasa, on Monday February 25^th at 6.30 am, but he never got to work.

“My elder brother has gone missing. Since Monday morning at 6.30am. He left the house for work but never got to work. If you know someone who knows someone who knows someone who could know where he is, INBOX,” wrote Zawadi Mudibo.

Further reports said that his phone GPRS location was last traced in Msababa, Kilifi County.
