Aziz Azion dumps on Eddy Kenzo ahead of “Strings of Love” concert
Azion made this point clear on Thursday, September 21 as he officially announced his upcoming music concert dubbed “Strings of Love”
The sensational artist when asked if his relationship with his former colleague, Kenzo had improved, confirmed that they still don't see eye to eye.
“Sometimes a person will come to you to work together when they have their other hidden intentions and once they get what they want, then they will treat you like trash,” Azion told journalists.
“Such people exist in the world but they don’t stop us from moving,” he said in reference to his fallout with Kenzo.
The two talented singers started off their music careers back in 2010. They, however, had a bitter split as one accused the other of treachery.
Kenzo first came out accusing Azion of throwing him out of their group.
“I started my music career with Aziz and on the way when I had just done my song titled Lonely, we got a misunderstanding and he fired me. In fact, he told me never ever to cross or appear in his face again. Since then he has never called me to go back,” Kenzo said back in 2020.
The Nkumira Omukwano singer hit back, labeling Kenzo as a traitor who refused to recognize him among the people who helped him in the music industry.
Asked yesterday if Kenzo was invited to the concert at Serena Hotel, Azion said, “He’s free to come as long as he pays at the entrance.”
The Strings of Love concert is set for November 4, at the Kampala Serena, and according to Azion, it will be an annual event.
He said the show is for “people who love good music.”
“I have picked the best of the best including Steve Jean; we’ll have a Masetro Band, which you all know how good they are,” he said.
Azion also promised to bring back talented artist Jamal Wasswa who recently was reported struggling with mental health.
